A USB stick
Turn on Direct and the file travels device to device, encrypted. If the network requires it, Zas uses a relay. Nothing is stored unless you choose the 24-hour encrypted fallback. Both devices need Zas open.
The corridor

Everything you send starts with a 5-segment ring, one per day. When the ring goes dark, the item deletes itself. Nothing piles up. Pin what needs to stay and its clock stops until you release it.

Always encrypted.
Zas encrypts content on your device. Storage receives encrypted bytes. The service keeps the account, channel, delivery and expiry metadata needed to sync and remove items.
Agents
Your agents send and read what you see.
Pair a coding agent with a code. It sends files and notes into the channels you allow, and reads what is there. When two of your agents share a channel, they pass work to each other and you see every item, marked as theirs.
Any MCP client can pair: Claude Code, Codex and others.

The agent asks, you approve in Settings. Up to 5 agents on a free account.
Permissions per channel
Send and read are separate switches on each channel. Turn either off at any time.
In plain view
Every agent item carries an agent mark and deletes itself after 5 days.

An agent can send or receive large files through Direct, without storing them.

Your company runs its own Zas.
An administrator decides who sends, who receives and how much room each person has, all under the company identity.
