  3. Keep what matters

Useful when the snippet is only part of the story

Debugging with someone

Keep an error message, a screenshot, and a log file in the same session. Share the items your collaborator needs.

Moving between devices

Start on your computer and open the session on your phone without installing an app.

Sending something once

Pass along working material that does not need to become a permanent document.

Pin the items you want to keep; let the rest go. For version history or publishing an article, use a tool designed for that job.

Clear limits. Clear privacy.

Zas encrypts content on your device before upload. The service keeps account, channel, delivery, and expiry metadata needed to sync and remove items.

Your session link grants access to the session. Use an item’s share link when you only want to share that item.

This page measures actions and the steps to your first save using a temporary visit ID. Pasted content, filenames, and session links are excluded.

Before your first paste

Do I need an account?

No. Pasting or choosing a file starts an anonymous session. You can return to it in the same browser or open its session link on another device.

Can I keep an item from expiring?

Yes. With an account, pin an item to keep it until you unpin or delete it, within your plan’s pin limit. Otherwise, items expire after two days anonymously or five days by default with an account. Automatic expiry means you do not have another storage space to organize and prune.

Can I paste images and upload files?

Yes. Paste a screenshot, drop a file, or use the file picker. The anonymous session has 30 MB of storage in total. Zas preserves original file bytes.

When is my content saved?

The preview acknowledges your content immediately. The item is saved after the send finishes; a preview alone does not mean it has been delivered.

Should I replace all my Pastebin links?

Start with your next exchange of code, screenshots, or files. With an account, pin anything you want to keep. Leave existing links in place if others still rely on them.
